"You'll never know what's on the other side of the ocean unless you have the courage to lose sight of the shore."
I love this quote so much! The picture below is our bathroom because I want to be reminded every day of this quote. I want to have the courage to do the impossible. I'm working every day to lose sight of the shore and realize my dreams are at my fingertips. I want to change every day to be the better person God wants me to be. God gives us a choice every day. We can choose to love, trust and be joyful in Him, or we can choose to be negative every day. I want to be the one who chooses Joy. Joy has been my word of the year for the past two years because I hope someday to be so filled with joy that people see it in me every day.

Being positive all the time is hard. I heard this today from Jon Acuff, "Negativity will find you, positivity will take work." How true is this! We need to stop this from happening. It actually angers me how easy it is to be negative. We have to constantly talk ourselves out of being negative and not be so mean to ourselves. We are humans with crazy mistakes and backgrounds that try to make a comeback. We need to let go of our old selves and realize how damn awesome we are! We are amazing and worthy of great things! Let's change the way we think going into this next week.
A week full of Thanksgiving fun! Let's go into it with positivity and just have fun. Let's let go of the feeling to be perfect and really be grateful for the wonderful things God has given us. Let's enjoy our families and delicious food. Eat that pumpkin pie! Let's be there to hug the friend that lost a loved one during this time. Let's bring a smile to those who are feeling sad and discouraged. Let's laugh till our stomachs hurt. Most important just be in the moment. If you are baking a pie take a moment to smell the aroma around you. If you are decorating your house take a moment and look around at what you have and be grateful. When you sit down at the table for a big feast take a mental snapshot because you are with those you love. We only have one life to live and let's make it fun and full of love!
Enjoy every moment!
Always Smile,
Michelle
