Be where you are in this moment. Right now I just put Grayson to bed, erased what I wrote earlier, and trying to find the motivation to write. This week has been a hectic week for us. Just like most of the world, the virus has kicked us down. We started the new year on track. We were eating healthy, working out, setting family goals and challenges, and we were kicking butt. Yes, it was only week one, but I was proud of us for kicking it off strong. Then Sunday it started to go downhill. Our family one by one got hit with the covid bug. We hunkered down and helped each other get through it. I ended up getting the worst of the three of us and man has it been rough getting back. I tried yesterday to just walk for ten minutes around my house and I felt like I ran a 5k. So it looks the next week will be taking it slow and gaining our strength back. But that's ok, I'm not going to let this keep me down. I have a choice, I can sit on my rump, or I can walk slowly until I get my strength back. I choose walking! I pray we all stay healthy.
Having great support around us helped us conquer this. Knowing we weren't alone was key. When the driver in the family is down for the count it's great to have family and friends who helped get us what we needed. Asking for help and reaching out is something everyone should do. Don't struggle alone!
I saw the quote below today and it's so true.

We are all a part of this amazing story that God has already written us into. Every single one of us has a purpose and a reason to be here. And when we all love and work together it really is amazing what can happen. God has called us to a unique purpose. Every single one of us. All of us have a relevant story in the big picture. Even if we feel like we are going through the motions every day, that means something. God is showing up for us every day. The best part is we get to choose to be a part of it. We can sit by and watch others doing what they love or we can join them! Let's choose to be confident in what God has called us to do!! Enjoy this moment that you have!
Always Smile,
Michelle
